We're looking for a motivated, design-savvy individual to join our showroom as a Part-Time Sales Consultant. This is a varied role perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and has a flair for interiors and styling. School hours, varied week days, or a flexible mix of both – we can tailor the schedule for the right person.

Tilemax is a locally owned and operated tile reseller based in the Wellington region. We pride ourselves on being focused in giving max value, variety, and style to our retail, design and wholesale customers. Nationwide we have 10 Tilemax outlets nationwide, 3 in Auckland, 2 in the Wellington region, Tauranga, Rotorua, Christchurch, Queenstown and Dunedin.

Key roles and responsibilities include:
  • Assisting customers in choosing tiles and bathroomware for their homes and projects
  • Providing exceptional customer service, from first contact through to sale
  • Working closely with key account holders to foster and build growing relationships
  • Maintaining the showroom’s visual appeal and presentation
  • Processing sales and managing product enquiries
  • Collaborating with a small team to achieve store goals
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in sales or retail
  • Great communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
  • A passion for design, interiors, and helping customers find the perfect fit
  • Adaptability, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for presentation
  • Confidence using point-of-sale systems and basic admin tools
  • Someone with a passion for sales and drive for success
