**About the Role**
This opportunity involves working in a warm, supportive home with **four young adult women** who live with **challenging behaviours**. They love swimming, going for walks, and enjoying time on the swings — so if you enjoy being active and outdoors, you'll fit right in!
You'll be part of a **rotating roster**, providing consistent, calming support that helps these women feel safe, empowered, and understood. Every day brings new moments of connection, growth, and joy.
**What You'll Do**
As a **Community Support Worker**, you'll help individuals:
- Participate in community activities

- Develop daily living skills
- Feel supported, respected, and valued

**Ideal Candidate**
You might be just who we're looking for if you:
- Are interested in gaining a Level 3 (or higher) Community Support Worker qualification — we can support you to achieve this while you work
- Have experience (or a strong interest) in supporting people with disabilities, mental health needs, or challenging behaviours — especially nonverbal individuals
- Are reliable, committed, and passionate about helping others
- Hold a full New Zealand driver's licence
- Can pass a NZ police check
- The ability to use a computer effectively, including programs such as Microsoft Suite (Word, Email etc.), and Intranet
- Excellent, clear, understandable verbal and written English is a pre-requisite to be considered for this role
If you are a non-resident applying for this role you must meet the following INZ Level 3 skill requirements to be considered:
- at least 3 years of relevant work experience, or
- a relevant qualification on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF) — this must be at least a level 4 qualification for a role at skill level 3, or a diploma for a role at skill level 2.
