Paeroa - Mining Tyre Service Technician / Repairer

• 45 hours per week at any site in the Waikato Area.
• Minimum 3 year working experience as a OTR Tyre Technician.

• Fitting and replacement of tyres and wheels on light, medium and heavy earth mover Vehicles.
• Inspect Tyres for Repair
• Organizing necessary tools, equipment and staff to successfully complete job tasks. Good Communication skills.
• Comply with all company and site health and safety requirements.
• Reporting and informing management of site activities.

• Inspects tyres to identify injury, the cause of injury and determine the type of repair that is to be carried out.
• Take the required actions to maintain and preserve tyre life. This includes regular pressure checks, ensuring that tyres are operated at the correct pressures.
• Operation of equipment and machinery to remove and refit tyres and wheels to vehicles.
• Carrying out the required paperwork to facilitate the tracking of tyres and wheels. This includes, Tyre Change Sheets, Period End etc.
• Maintain a healthy and safe work environment for all personnel, taking required actions to reduce the likelihood of injury to anyone that is present in the work area.

• An hourly Rate of $32 - $35 depending on experience.

• Have a New Zealand full clean driver's licence
• New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
