Are you a successful education leader in the early childhood sector looking for your next challenge? Do you have the skills, experience, and ambition to work with a wide range of services to improve the quality of education? As part of ERO you will achieve this through the provision of effective evaluation focused on equity and excellence for all learners.

ERO is seeking to appoint Review Officers based inAuckland, Napier and Wellington. The roles are within the Review and Improvement Services group (RIS). RIS works with early childhood services (not including Maori medium) to review and report on the quality of early childhood education in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The work of RIS is underpinned by the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi, and that Maori enjoy and achieve education success as Maori. Our values - Manawa Rahi, Whakawhanaungatanga, and Mahi Tahi - guide our work.
