About the role:
Due to continued influx of ongoing work we are offering the opportunity to join our expert team. Learn our specialised skill set & be trained by the leaders in the hardware installation sector.
We are looking to fill the role of Junior Hardware Installer, this will include assisting one of our senior installers on site, while utilising your attention to detail and high standard of work to enhance our efficiency. The right candidate will be a good communicator, will have a high level of initiative and will thrive on working as part of a close knit team.
This role would suit someone who is driven to create a career in the construction industry. Previous trade experience is not essential however, this would be an added advantage. You will appreciate working for a family run business that prides itself in its commitment to clients and delivering high quality door hardware solutions.In return you will receive competitive industry rates, excellent working conditions and the confidence of on going work.
Key Responsibilities:
> Monday - Friday full time work
> Take direction from senior installers and complete tasks efficiently
> General labouring duties
> Expectation to show engagement and an interest to learn installation tasks
> Driving the work vehicle at times to and from site (this can be 100kms plus)
About you:
> You have a proven ability to deliver a high standard of workmanship and be accountable for your work.
> You have a professional, respectable and reliable attitude and this will be evident in your work ethic.
> You display a ‘can-do’ and a ‘learn by doing’ work style
> You have the ability to work effectively unsupervised
> There will be an expectation that you will pass a drug test and expect onsite random drug testing.
> You have a ‘clean’ full New Zealand driver’s license
> You have gained at least NCEA Level One or equivalent Certificate
> You have good communication skills and can relate to a diverse range of people
