We are currently seeking an Experienced Fleet Tyre Service Technician to join our hardworking team in Huntly, Waikato.
About the Role:In this hands-on role, you’ll respond to customer callouts and perform tyre servicing on a wide range of vehicles including trucks, utility vehicles, agricultural, and off-road forestry equipment. You’ll also assist in-store with the sale and fitting of commercial tyres.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair, maintain, and replace tyres on light and heavy vehicles, including trucks, agricultural machinery, and forestry equipment.
- Conduct regular fleet inspections and report unsafe or worn tyres requiring replacement.
- Remove and fit tyres across a variety of commercial vehicle types.
- Repair punctures on commercial, farming, and truck tyres.
- Identify and report additional vehicle issues such as wheel alignment problems.
- Independently attend to daytime roadside and onsite tyre service callouts.
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call roster attending to after-hours callouts as required.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service in a professional and safe work environment.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety protocols at all times.
- At least three years of relevant work experience — particularly with commercial, farming, and heavy machinery tyres.
- A valid New Zealand Full Driver’s Licence (Class 2 licence is a strong advantage) or equivalent.
- A positive, reliable team player with strong initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- NZ Citizens or permanent residents or with a valid New Zealand Work Visa.

The work hours are from 30 hours minimum to 70 hours maximum per week, and they are to be worked between Monday and Friday, between 7am and 5:30pm, and Saturday, between 8am and 5:30pm.
