Apiha Tukatuka Whakamatua Hanganga | Building Control Officer (Processing)
As a Building Control Officer you will be responsible for evaluating and processing building consent applications and responding to customer enquiries in accordance with Council policies and legislative requirements.
The salary for this role is between $80,063 - $94,191 per annum.
Apiha Matamua Tirotiro Whakamatua Hanganga | Senior Building Control Officer (Inspecting)
As a Senior Building Control Officer (Inspecting) you will be responsible for inspecting building works in accordance with the building consent and responding to customer enquiries in accordance with Council policies and legislative requirements.In addition, you will be a technical lead providing support to the Building Team.
Our ideal applicant will have previous Senior Building Control Officer experience however Building Control Officers will also be considered.
The salary for this role is between $89,387 - $105,161 per annum.
About you
To be successful for these roles you will need a qualification in accordance with Regulation 18 of the Building Act, a current NCAS Competency Assessment Residential 3, excellent written and oral communication skills, a full drivers licence, able to establish and maintain business relationships and a strong customer focus.
Needing to relocate? Not a problem as we can offer a relocation allowance and support for the right candidate.
These are full time, permanent positions based at our Matamata office.
