Your area of work will be at HillmortonHospital across different wards, working with people who have injuries, andvarious levels of physical health and activity needs.

There will be asignificant amount of group exercise work and mobilisation of patients soexperience in an inpatient setting or in a previous exercise-based role isessential.

Hours for the successful applicant can be negotiated between Mondayto Friday 0800
  • 1630.In this role, youwill be responsible for:Assisting your Physiotherapist colleagues in delivering treatment and rehabilitation plans in a hospital setting;Facilitating group exercise sessionsThe setting out of equipment in preparation for physiotherapy sessions or meetings as required;The maintenance and monitoring of supplies and equipment within the department.There will be opportunities for upskilling and continuing education in exercise-based interventions.

Skills and ExperienceA strong desire to be part of a team and an eagerness to be your best;Dedication to continued learning and striving for the best patient outcomes;Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to follow direction;Flexibility with the ability to work in a variety of ward areas with different teams from day to day;Previous experience in a similar therapy assistant role with a good understanding of health is essential.
