About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class 5 Driver to step into ongoing work across Taupo and the Central Plateau. You’ll be operating modern, well-maintained trucks and supporting a range of civil, construction, and transport projects.
Your days may include:
- Driving truck & trailer, tipper, or bulk haulage units
- Transporting materials to and from sites
- Assisting with loading/unloading
- Completing pre-starts and maintaining accurate logbooks
- Working closely with site supervisors and ground crews
Every day will bring something new, and safety will always be your top priority.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds a full Class 5 licence
- Has proven experience driving heavy vehicles
- Understands NZ Transport regulations and road safety practices
- Is confident, reliable, and able to work unsupervised
- Communicates well and represents Tradestaff professionally
- Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
WTR, DG, or previous civil experience is a bonus — but not essential.
