About the RoleBay of Plenty Hauora a Toi is seeking an experienced administrator for the Tauranga Maternity Unit. This position is fixed term full-time to the end of December 2025 and is predominantly afternoon/night shift cover. Shifts vary from 6am to 3pm, 2.30pm to 11pm and 11pm to 6.30am. This is a reception-based role in Tauranga Hospital Maternity Unit.
This position provides front of house administrative care to our hapu patients and their whānau in the community. Attention to detail, a high level of initiative, good organisational and communication skills are key components to the role. The position requires you to work closely with patients and clinical staff.
Therefore, you will need to be comfortable building rapport with various people and be a trusted and respectful staff member. About the Team/Service/LocationThe team works on a rotating 24/7 roster. You will support all clinical, non-clinical staff and patients within the service.
