Workshop Joiner / Builder – Fixed-Term (Whakatane)

We’re looking for a practical, detail-oriented tradesperson to join our workshop team in Whakatane through to the end of year close-down.

This is a fixed-term role (3–5 days per week, until mid/late December 2025) — ideal for someone with cabinet making or building experience who can jump in and help us clear a strong order backlog. There may be opportunities for further work in the new year, but this role is specifically to cover the busy pre-Christmas production period.

About the Role

We manufacture false floors and drawer systems for vans and utes – a product that’s straightforward to build but requires accuracy and care.

• Measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembly of plywood drawer systems
• Safe, efficient use of workshop tools
• Producing neat, accurate, quality work consistently
• This work suits someone who is already confident in the workshop and can get up to speed quickly.

• Cabinet making, joinery, carpentry or building background
• Solid practical skills and a steady hand (attention to detail matters)
• Reliability and the ability to work independently
• Availability 3–5 days per week (negotiable)

• Fixed-term contract until the end of year close-down (December 2025)
