Positions Available: Fibre Network Faults Restoration

ICT Data Technician

Requirements:
Experience is Essential: Only experienced individuals need to apply. If you're a seasoned professional in any of the listed operations, we want to hear from you!
  • BAU Build:
  • Lateral installation, pit work, trenching, drilling, hauling, and reinstatement.

Excavator Operator:

  • Experience in installing fibre networks and working around existing services.

Directional Drill Operator:

  • Proficiency in installing fibre networks, adept at working around existing services.

Ribbonet Jointing:

  • Straight, branch, and ABFFP setup.

UFB Aerial Build:

  • Stringing, RATs, and hauling.

UFB Fibre Splicing:

  • Exchange, OTDR testing, in-ground and aerial splicing.

NGA - Fibre Faults Experience:

  • Resolving faults on the GPON network, direct and dark fibres (e.g., RAT, BUDI, OFDC, FFP).

Preference Given to Those with:

  • Full Driver's License
  • Chorus WTCs Certification
  • Current First Aid Certification
  • Current TTM Qualification
  • Tracks Endorsement
  • Telecommunications Technician Qualifications
  • Ability to Operate OTDR on Different Wavelengths
  • Knowledge of Single and Multi-Mode Fibres

  • Ability to Read and Work Effectively with Design Plans
  • NZ Residency or Valid NZ Work Visa
