Positions Available: Fibre Network Faults Restoration
ICT Data Technician
Requirements:Experience is Essential: Only experienced individuals need to apply. If you're a seasoned professional in any of the listed operations, we want to hear from you!
- BAU Build:
- Lateral installation, pit work, trenching, drilling, hauling, and reinstatement.
Excavator Operator:
- Experience in installing fibre networks and working around existing services.
Directional Drill Operator:
- Proficiency in installing fibre networks, adept at working around existing services.
Ribbonet Jointing:
- Straight, branch, and ABFFP setup.
UFB Aerial Build:
- Stringing, RATs, and hauling.
UFB Fibre Splicing:
- Exchange, OTDR testing, in-ground and aerial splicing.
NGA - Fibre Faults Experience:
- Resolving faults on the GPON network, direct and dark fibres (e.g., RAT, BUDI, OFDC, FFP).
Preference Given to Those with:
- Full Driver's License
- Chorus WTCs Certification
- Current First Aid Certification
- Current TTM Qualification
- Tracks Endorsement
- Telecommunications Technician Qualifications
- Ability to Operate OTDR on Different Wavelengths
- Knowledge of Single and Multi-Mode Fibres
