Logistics Team Leader

About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Team Leader to join our warehouse team based at our Distribution Centre in Royal Oak, Auckland, this is a key leadership role responsible for managing day shift operations, driving performance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage daily shift operations, ensuring KPIs are met and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented.
- Oversee quality assurance and compliance with standards including BRCGS and HACCP.
- Promote and enforce WHS policies, resolve safety hazards, and lead emergency response procedures.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members, including onboarding and probation reviews.
- Coordinate staffing, manage pay runs, and support recruitment activities.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership role within a warehouse environment
- Strong communication, decision-making, and team engagement skills
- Forklift Licence and MPI Container Certification (AP & TFO accredited)
- HACCP training and understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Experience using WMS systems (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
