The Customer Specialist + Inventory Specialist will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with both B2C customers and B2B partners, such as retailers and cycling federations. You will be the main point of contact for all customer enquiries, managing our customer service channels and actioning requests.
You will ensure that fulfillment for all customers aligns with Velobike’s high standards for quality and innovation. They will work in collaboration with other team members, with a focus on continually improving processes and procedures.
On top this they will also be responsible for managing and maintaining optimal stock levels to meet the demands of our customers, retailers, and federations. You’ll handle everything from stock forecasting and purchasing to reconciling and unpacking incoming stock orders.This role also involves managing packaging supplies, reconciling payments, and working closely with internal teams to keep the website's inventory up to date. Lastly, in collaboration with other team members, you’ll continually improve processes and procedures.

Skills and Experience- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to represent Velobike in a professional manner.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience managing relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers and federations, is a plus.
- A problem-solver with the ability to work independently and handle customer concerns efficiently.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes, courier management, and customer service software (such as Shopify) is beneficial.
- Experience in inventory management, supply chain, or operations.
- Proficient in stock forecasting, purchasing, and reconciliation processes.
- Experience with B2B platforms and payment reconciliation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with e-commerce systems, inventory management software, and spreadsheets.
- Dedicated to providing excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Able to foster strong relationships with customers, retailers, and federations.
- Quick thinker who can independently resolve customer issues effectively.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and ensure everything runs smoothly from stock ordering to payment reconciliation. On top of this ensuring smooth processes, attention to detail as well as all deadlines are met.
- Highly meticulous, ensuring accuracy in stock levels, orders, and payments.
- Strong ability to forecast stock needs by analyzing data and trends.
- Anticipates inventory and packaging needs before they arise, ensuring smooth operations.
- Quickly identifies and resolves stock discrepancies or supply chain issues.
- Comfortable using inventory management software, e-commerce platforms, and spreadsheets.
- Clear in both written and verbal communication, able to liaise with suppliers, retailers, and internal teams.
- Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, handling changing priorities with ease.
- Interest in cycling or sports is a plus for deeper customer connections.
Additional Information:
Days: Monday to Friday with the odd event on weekends.Hours: 40hrs - 8.30am - 5pm
