Want to live and work close to one of the most beautiful National Parks in New Zealand? Te Anau is the gateway to the Fiordland National Park and the Kea Cafe services coaches that travel through the town to visit Milford Sound.
We are looking for a qualified barista that can:- Make great coffee
- Deliver service with a smile
- Ensure the cafe is well presented and tidy at all times
- Help prepare cabinet food
You will be:
- An excellent communicator
- A team player with a can do attitude
- Conscientious and reliable
- Calm under pressure
- Open and outgoing and willing to help others
- Adaptable to changing circumstances
- Organised and flexible
Your ability to work calmly under pressure as part of a highly functioning team is essential as the cafe is exceptionally busy at times. We have an international customer base so the ability to speak a second language will be highly regarded.
Rostered work hours will be 30+ hours for 5 per week with more in the summer season. Weekend work will be required. Wages will be commensurate with experience from $25 - $30 per hour
