About the role
We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our night shift team in Auckland. This is a full-time position and would suit someone who is comfortable both being hands on with the team and working in the office. Primarily the role will require you to lead your team and make sure the night shift runs smoothly, whilst ensuring our customer’s specifications are loaded correctly with the goal of premium customer service in mind at all times.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:- Daily allocation of work tasks and staffing requirements
- Managing and completing the freight sort and supporting as required, to present freight on time for drivers
- Ensuring all freight goes to the correct destination and is in perfect condition
- Provide a completed Operational handover to the next shift each day
- Health and Safety guidelines and compliance are maintained, and any incidents are reported
- A minimum of 3 years proven leadership and training experience preferably within the chilled and frozen transport industry
- Strong knowledge and understanding of MPI and NZTA regulations
- Hold an OSH approved Forklift Licence
- Experience using Ibright GPS system
- Modern and well-maintained environment + company vehicles to work with
