Barista/Café Worker
Urbanrise Bakery & Espresso is seeking a dedicated and experienced Barista/Cafe worker to join our vibrant and fast-paced team. Our clientele consists primarily of office workers, making our café a bustling spot in the city.
Position: Barista/Cafe worker (2 Position)Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent (minimum 30 hours)
Pay Rate: $24- $30
Hours: Monday to Sunday between 5:30AM to 5:00PM, with availability required on public holidays
Experience: A level 2 or 3 qualification OR 1 year of work experience
Urbanrise Bakery, Auckland CBD, is looking for a Barista/Café Worker to work in our Beaumont Street shop. We required the 2 x Barista/Café Worker
We are looking for a barista who makes awesome coffee, able to communicate with a diverse range of customers. Your primary task will be making spectacular, consistent coffee and serving customers.
You will also be required to serve customers, manage the pie warmers and the cakes & sweets cabinet, and make sure the shop/tables/counter are clean and tidy throughout the day. Keep the drinks fridge full and place drinks orders online.
You may be required to do other ad hoc café work.
This position is full time (Minimum 30 hours every week on a rotating roster), Monday to Sunday. Hours are approximately Monday to Friday from 5.30 am to 5.00 pm and Saturday and Sundays from 6.00 am to 3.00 pm
Requirements:
Be an experienced Barista with a level 2 or 3 qualification, OR 1 year of work experience.Make great and consistent coffee
The ability to set up and adjust the coffee grinder
Knowledge of extraction and pouring techniques
Ability to multitask and be a great all-arounder
Keep a clean and tidy working area
Be fit and healthy in mind and body
Love of customer service & excellent communication skills
