Measures, cleans, chops, blends, seasons, heats and cools food
Monitors food cooking processes to ensure proper cooking and presentation
Coordinates, supervises and collaborates with kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
Cleans and maintains kitchen equipment and utensils
Monitors and maintains inventory of food supplies and equipment
Assists in the development of new recipes and menu items
Prepare and cook a variety of North Indian and tandoori dishes
Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A person with innovative ideas and who can transform his ideas into quality recipes.
Good communication skills.

Qualifications or Experience : NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification or 1-2years of experience in Indian curry and tandoori cuisine
Responsibility and duties :
Inspects and selects ingredients for cookingMeasures, cleans, chops, blends, seasons, heats and cools food
Monitors food cooking processes to ensure proper cooking and presentation
Coordinates, supervises and collaborates with kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
Cleans and maintains kitchen equipment and utensils
Monitors and maintains inventory of food supplies and equipment
Assists in the development of new recipes and menu items
Prepare and cook a variety of North Indian and tandoori dishes
Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Follow all safety and hygiene standards
Must have knowledge of Indian curries and tandoori dishesMust be able to maintain quality and assist in cost control.
