Bobs Gas and Cylinder Services Tauranga is a business with a fantastic history, starting in the late 1970's. We test all types of pressurised cylinders, from LPG cylinders to CO2, Fire Extinguishers, Scuba and BA. We are one of only a small number of testing labs in NZ approved to test composite BA's.This means there is plenty of variety in the day.
Bobs Gas and Cylinder Services is an IANZ accredited testing laboratory, adhering to strict processes and rules for testing cylinders to New Zealand standards.
Due to growth we are looking for a new testing team member. Ideally you will be experienced and previously approved by IANZ, but there are not many cylinder testers out there so if you can demonstrate an absolute attention to detail and understanding of how your work affects the safety of others then we will train you for the role.
This is a technical role with an element of science and engineering in the day to day work. Strong written and oral communication is required along with an ability to read and understand technical documents and regulations. A strong understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act and a commitment to keep yourself, your team and our customers safe is an absolute must.
This is a new position adding to our testing team, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. In peak times there maybe additional hours available. An immediate start would be ideal.
