The Fabric Store | Auckland Store Manager
We are searching for a fabric-loving retail star to join us in the full-time role of Store Manager in our Flagship fabric store, located on Newton Road
As a Store Manager, you'll be an experienced Leader who is both pro-active in achieving sales targets and passionate about providing a high level of customer service at all times.
Reporting to the General Manager, you'll inspire your team to achieve exceptional results and create unique and memorable in-store experiences for our customers. Celebrating and recognising others, operational excellence, visual merchandising and product expertise will all come naturally to you.
Ideally you will have:- A passion about fashion, home sewing and sustainable textiles, and can genuinely appreciate the value in spreading the core messages of the brand to better people’s skillset and wellbeing
- A connection to textiles beyond just selling a product
- A strong understanding of store and business KPI expectations & driving potential sales opportunities
- Impressive time-management and organisational skills
- Confidence to work alongside the general Manager and other HO team members to motivate, inspire and lead your local team.

In this role you will:- Think strategically to identify missed opportunities
- Ensure employees are aligned with store and business expectations
- Ensure employees are customer service ambassadors at all times
- Create a positive environment with employees & customers in store whenever possible with your amazing interpersonal skills
- Be managing the recruitment and training of all new and existing team members
- Ensure that our visual merchandising directives and standards are being kept are in line with weekly communications
Complete rosters and ensure they are costed within hours budget.
