Multi-Skilled Civil & Drainage Machine Operator
An established civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced and motivated Multi-Skilled Civil & Drainage Machine Operator to join a busy team delivering infrastructure projects across Canterbury.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in civil construction, drainage, and 3 Waters infrastructure, particularly within council water, stormwater, and wastewater networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a range of civil construction machinery
- Installation and maintenance of 3 Waters infrastructure
- Drainage and pipeline construction
- Working around live water, stormwater, and wastewater services
- Assisting civil crews with general construction activities
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in civil construction and drainage
- Experience working on council water infrastructure projects
- WTR endorsement (essential)
- Class 2 licence preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing
- Reliable transport
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively within a team
