Asphalt Foreman and roller operator required

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreperson and a roller operator to join our clients team based in Nelson/Tasman

As the foreman you’ll be a strong all-rounder with the ability to jump on the machines and plant, as well as motivate and lead your crew on-site to achieve high-quality workmanship and finishes.

What you'll bring to the role as a Foreman:

  • 3+ years of experience in the roading industry, including operating asphalt pavers and rollers
  • Solid knowledge of road construction and maintenance methods, materials, and tools
  • A Class 2 licence and WTR endorsement (required)
  • Previous leadership experience and the ability to motivate a team
  • Clear communication skills with clients, consultants, and staff
  • A strong understanding of best practice, quality assurance, and health and safety standards
  • A proactive, reliable, and team-focused attitude

Competitive hourly rate Foreman $32 - $35 and Roller Operator $28
