Electrician - Christchurch

Registered Electrician | Christchurch We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and respected provider of electrical and HVAC solutions across the Canterbury region. They are seeking a Registered Electrician with proven experience in project-based work and a strong ability to lead and supervise onsite teams.

This role offers long-term, stable work with a strong pipeline of commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and support of electrical installation teams
• Coordination of site health and safety procedures, including toolbox meetings
• Communication with clients, project managers, and internal stakeholders
• Resource management and progress tracking across multiple job sites
• Quality assurance and compliance with all relevant standards
• Preparation of accurate electrical schematic diagrams
• Mentoring and support of apprentices and junior team members

Key Requirements:

• NZ Registered Electrician with a current practising licence
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a commercial or industrial setting
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to manage project timelines and allocate resources efficiently
