As a Boatbuilder / Tradesman, you will be responsible for the construction, assembly, and repair of boats. You’ll work with a range of materials such as wood, fiberglass, and metal, and ensure that all boats meet our high standards for quality and safety.

• Build and repair boats according to specifications and plans.
• Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely.
• Work with fiberglass, wood, metals, and other materials to complete projects.
• Assist with the repair and maintenance of boats as needed.
• Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines.
• Train other staff (apprentices)

• Proven experience as a Boatbuilder, Joiner, or in a similar tradesman role.
• Must have experience with Glass over ply construction.
• Familiarity with various boatbuilding techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and craftsmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to work.
• Good sense of humor is a must.

• Experience with fiberglass, woodwork, and metalworking.
• Ability to operate boatbuilding machinery and tools.
• Previous experience in a boatyard or boat production environment.
