About the Role
OneStaff Tauranga is currently seeking a motivated Purchasing Administrator to support one of our valued clients in the signage and manufacturing industry.
This role is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working with systems and suppliers to keep operations running smoothly. You'll be responsible for managing purchasing, setting up SKUs, monitoring stock, and assisting with planning and scheduling using WorkGuru.
Starting on a temporary part-time contract (around 20 hours per week), this position offers genuine potential to become permanent and grow into a Planning/Scheduling Management role for the right person.
Key Responsibilities- Create and process purchase orders in WorkGuru
- Set up and maintain SKUs and stock item records
- Order and track materials and consumables
- Monitor stock levels and arrange timely replenishment
- Reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies
- Liaise with suppliers on pricing, delivery, and product information
- Support job planning and scheduling activities
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory administration
- Familiarity with WorkGuru or similar job management systems (SimPRO, WorkflowMax, Fergus, etc.)
- Strong organisation skills and high attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
- Clear communication and a proactive attitude
- Experience in signage, manufacturing, or trades is an advantage
- Approx. 20 hours per week (flexible)
- Temporary contract with potential to go permanent
