Our vision is a New Zealand where good cyber security happens, everywhere, all the time, by everyone.The roleThe Enterprise Information Security Group (EISG) is a part of the NCSC and is responsible for delivering information security strategy, programme and services to the GCSCB and NZSIS.EISG is seeking to fill one of its most sought-after leadership positions: Technical Director Enterprise Information Security, Policy & Governance.
The Technical Director is responsible for solving some of the most challenging information security problems within the GCSB and NZSIS (the Enterprise). As an expert in cyber security and leader that is visible across the Enterprise the Technical Director has a pivotal role in setting information security culture, and deputises for the GCSB CISO as required.This is a unique opportunity for you to make a real difference.

Designing, maintaining and implementing effective information security policies and frameworks in alignment with Enterprise settings. Providing an expert understanding of the state of the information security policies across the GCSB and NZSIS and articulating this to the Senior Leadership Teams.Providing security thought leadership on core information security questions facing the business and proactively guide and support information security initiatives.
