Our stunning store, in the heart of the magical Mangawhai community, has been operating since October 2022.
With grocery, butchery, seafood, deli, bakery, produce, liquor, chilled and frozen, online and checkout departments in a beautiful new store, we are bringing a new era of shopping to our wonderful customers.

Role - Supermarket Assistant - Checkout Team
Provide an excellent level of customer service- Working with other staff members to ensure that customer's needs are met
- Process customers purchases efficiently and effectively whilst taking care of their purchases
- Pack goods with care for all purchases
- Ensure high presentation standards in all areas - cleaning, tidy, rubbish removal
- Trolley collection
- Build relationships with the wider team and leadership to get the very best results
- Assist in other departments as need - filling shelves, chillers, freezers, produce, deli/butchery/seafood serving
- Part time - Thursdays 11am-8pm, Fridays and Saturdays 12pm-9pm - a total of 25.5 hours per week

What are we looking for:
- Supermarket / retail experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong work ethic, dedicated, reliable, honest and be an excellent team player
- Confidence, initiative and maturity to work unassisted at times
- Self-starters and the ability work across multiple departments
