Area Supervisor for BoP Region
Monday-Friday 5pm-9pm - Your flexibility is required
- At times we may require you to start earlier - during the day, or a little later in the evening.
You will be paid for hours worked, flexibility is required to fulfil business needs.

This is a Part Time (20) hours/week plus additional hours as required to fulfil the business needs.
Frequent travel within your Region, and at times for training and national meetings, outside these regions. We have an Area Supervisor, part time based in Hamilton also, and at times you may be required to cover for each other during leave and other periods.
As an Area Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the sites, training new employees, ongoing training of current employees, taking toolbox trainings, emailing and communicating with your Manager in Auckland, ensuring client satisfaction and cover-cleaning for frontline employees on leave.This is a hands-on role.

About the role:- Collaborate with internal teams to plan and schedule cleaning operations, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement.
- In liaison with Recruitment, conduct interviews and assist with the completion of onboarding documentation.
- Manage your Team effectively.
- Manage Health & Safety processes.
- Take the initiative and think forward.
- Write reports and prepare emails, spreadsheets, client-site ordering.
- This is a hands-on role - covering sites in the evening (to be expected weekly).
- You will come from a similar type of role, managing staff, customer facing, managing systems and processes to ensure quality delivery of service.
- Commercial Cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate and participate in Teams meetings.
- Fully proficient in Word and Excel as well as being well-spoken with strong English spoken communication skills.
- Must be proactive and solutions oriented.
- Be able to work outside of the standard hours as needed to fulfil business objectives.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand - Have a valid New Zealand Work Visa, Resident Visa, or Citizenship.
- Pass a Ministry of Justice (Criminal Conviction History) check.
- Physically fit to do the job.
- Full New Zealand Driver's License (not negotiable).
- Good attention to detail.
- A reliable work ethic with great customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, following training and instructions.
