Diesel Mechanic / Apprentice (Year 2–3 or Qualified)
We’re on the lookout for a motivated Diesel Mechanic or 2nd/3rd year Apprentice to join our growing team based in Mangere Bridge. Whether you’re still learning the trade or fully qualified, this is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive, hands-on workshop in a medium-sized, family-run business.
You’ll be working across a diverse fleet including buses, coaches, and vans—no two days are the same. From routine servicing and diagnostics through to repairs and general maintenance, you’ll gain solid, real-world experience across a wide range of vehicles.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll need to be happy to jump in and do a bit of everything—no egos, just getting the job done as part of a team.
We’re less focused on ticking every box and more interested in attitude. If you’re reliable, take pride in your work, and are keen to learn and develop, we want to hear from you.
What we’re looking for:- 2nd or 3rd year diesel apprentice or fully qualified mechanic
- Ability to obtain a class 4 licence (If not already obtained)
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to get stuck in and help across all areas
- Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Supportive team environment in a stable, family-run business
- Exposure to a varied fleet (buses, coaches, vans)
