We are looking for a Part-Time Branch Support team member to join our team in Kerikeri. This is a salaried position.

We are seeking an extraordinary individual to support the Kerikeri office team, working Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week.

This role supports managers, supervisors, and team members across the district and involves a variety of tasks, including administration, stores, kitchen and laundry support, and cleaning duties.

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining documentation and reporting within software applications such as JobAdder (recruitment), E-Road (fleet vehicles), Vault, and others.
  • Supporting recruitment screening requirements, recruitment documentation, and inductions.
  • Maintaining monthly consumable and chemical stock levels within the branch, including ordering, storage, receipting inward and outward stock, and reporting any anomalies to the Operations Manager and Area Administrator.
  • Keeping accurate records of goods and products issued to staff, supervisors, and managers, and maintaining the stock balance schedule.
  • Providing general office administration support, including vehicle service scheduling, photocopying, filing, ordering stores, managing store inventory and distribution, and maintaining stock in the main stores area. Some heavy lifting is involved.
  • Maintaining health and safety compliance requirements in line with company policies and processes via the Vault dashboard.

This is a busy role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a mature approach to time management, have proven experience working effectively with people at all levels, possess strong administration and data entry skills, be confident using Outlook technology, deliver timely and accurate reporting, and show a high level of personal responsibility while being an enthusiastic team player.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility in working hours, as some work may be required outside of normal hours to meet business needs.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Word.
  • Full physical fitness, as lifting consumable boxes from pallets to storeroom locations is required.
  • A strong eye for detail and the ability to learn quickly.
  • A full, clean driver's licence.
