Duty Manager - REGATTA

We’re opening an iconic new restaurant, Regatta, on the banks of the Waikato River - with the awa so close, you can dip your toes.

As Duty Manager, you will help lead the day to day operations of the restaurant floor & bar, ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience from the moment they walk through the door.

This is a full-time and permanent role.

What you'll be doing
Leading service shifts and supporting the wider restaurant team to deliver warm, professional hospitality
Helping build a strong team culture that values consistency, accountability and attention to detail
Ensuring the restaurant is presented to a high standard at all times
Supporting with staff training, communication and day to day team management
Managing customer interactions and resolving issues confidently and professionally
Working closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure smooth service flow
Maintaining compliance with all relevant health, safety and liquor licensing requirements

Representing the Regatta brand throughout the community

What we're looking for

A current duty managers certificate
Experience in a duty manager, supervisor or senior hospitality role within a busy hospitality environment
A natural leader who knows how to motivate a team and lead from the front
Someone who genuinely loves hospitality and understands what great service feels like
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Someone who takes pride in creating memorable customer experiences
Someone who is at the stage in their life where they want to build something they can be proud of
Someone who understands that consistency, energy and attitude matter

Someone who is ready to take ownership of their role and help shape the culture of the business
