• About the role:

We’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically minded technician with automation experience to join our small, high-performing team at Fabtech Automation Ltd. You'll be working on a wide variety of industrial machinery—troubleshooting, repairing, and delivering excellent service to customers across the Wellington region and beyond.

• Duties include:
• Installation, diagnosing and repairing faults in industrial and automated equipment
• Carrying out preventive and emergency maintenance
• Communicating clearly with clients and teammates
• Reporting job details and parts used using Fergus job management software
• To be successful, you’ll need:
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work safely and precisely
• Excellent communication and time management
• Electrical license or EST (or willing to obtain)
• Forklift, EWP and working at heights certification (or willing to obtain)
• A “can-do” attitude and desire to grow
