Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for:
- a trade qualified transport Diesel Mechanic to join our small and friendly team.
This is a full time, permanent position.
Truck and Engineering Services Otaki Ltd fabricate draw bars/beams, bins, deck repairs, trailer chassis repairs, hoist ram overhauls and replacements and more. Hours of work are typically 45 hours week Monday to Friday (7.30am – 5pm) with Saturday work available.We are happy to support ongoing training and development and can offer a competitve payrate.
As the ideal applicant you will:- Be Trade Qualified
- Have previous experience in a mechanical workshop setting where you have gained a strong understanding of all aspects of heavy vehicle repairs
- Be able to diagnose and rectify faults with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Have a clean NZ Driver’s License (Class 4 or above)
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be reliable and dependable with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Have a sense of humour
- Be physically fit with energy and an eagerness to work hard
- A Forklift Licence would be a bonus
