This role acts as a key connector between the actuarial function and the wider business, building trusted, influential relationships across ACC. Working closely with stakeholders, the focus is on turning actuarial insights into clear, practical advice that supports confident decision'making at senior levels.The role involves working through complex issues, prioritising what matters most, and delivering advice that influences outcomes and supports ACC's scheme performance and long'term sustainability.

It contributes to Our Strategy 2026-2029, with a focus on building an efficient organisation and a financially sustainable scheme that delivers value for New Zealanders.This is a permanent role, based in Wellington.The appointing salary for this role is between $140,000 - $180,000 depending on skills and experience.
We offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme with features like 0% employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance, and flexibility to change to a locked plan at any time.About you | MōuYou will bring:Proven experience in building relationships, managing senior and diverse stakeholders, and influencing effectively to achieve outcomes.

You are skilled at engaging across the business, leading cross'functional collaboration, and connecting specialist functions with broader organisational needs.Strong capability in navigating complex organisational environments, including a sound understanding of the machinery of government and how public sector organisations operate.Experience developing and delivering organisational or system'level strategies, from shaping the problem through to implementation and tracking impact.Experience engaging with senior leaders, boards and Ministers, with the confidence to operate at senior level and contribute to high'impact decision'making.Confidence working with numbers, data, graphs and technical concepts.

While actuarial knowledge is advantageous, it is not essential.
