Retail Assistant - Christchurch
Predominantly a sole charge position on regular basis.
We are looking for someone who can drive sales, and help our company grow. A background in furniture, textiles, interior design, or all of the above is a definite advantage, but we encourage applicants from all backgrounds. Any experience in marketing and social media is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Sales: Take ownership of the sales process, from greeting customers and hosting appointments to generating leads and identifying new business opportunities.
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service to both new and existing customers, developing positive relationships and building strong loyalty to our brand.
- Showroom Management: Assist in maintaining a dynamic, appealing showroom layout and theme, ensuring it is always presented at its best.
- Brand Promotion: Contribute to our online presence by providing content for our website and social media channels.
- Market Insight: Provide valuable market feedback through regular reporting to the Assistant Sales Manager to help inform our business strategy.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- A high attention to detail and be highly organized.
- Good computer skills and strong English literacy.

We are able to offer flexibility in hours for the right candidate, working part- time, within the hours Monday to Friday 10am
- 5.30pm and weekends Sat 10am
- 4pm, Sun 11am
- 3pm. Generally sole charge.
