• You must come with great customer service skills, a positive 'can do' attitude and the flexibility to glide into several different roles within your shift.
• Previous Barista experience is an absolute must. You will be running the coffee machine for 2 or 3 days per week so pumping out 300-400 cups of really great coffee with a high attention to detail, is a absolute must. Only those with past experience in a simular role with minimum of 2 years experience as a Barista will make it onto the interview stage.
• your other shifts will be a mixture of plating cabinet food, making iced drinks, POS system and cash handling and general cafe duties.
• you will need to be able to work weekends and all public holidays. Some flexibility to pick up extra shifts is required as staff hoildays or sickness happens. Be hospitality experienced as this is a busy cafe.
• Hours of work for all the Barista shifts is 7am till 4pm. Most other shifts will be 9.30am-3.30pm.
• A high standard of presentation is required and great communication skills as talking to customers is part of the job.
