We are a large agricultural contracting business based in Southland, we have a depot at Waimatua and another one in Browns close to Winton.We service clients across the wider Southland region and aim to provide efficient rural contracting services that support our farmers.

The Role:
We’re seeking reliable and motivated Truck Drivers to help keep the harvest moving. You’ll play a pivotal role in transporting silage, baleage, and other agricultural products safely and efficiently during our busy season.These positions will commence around Mid October supporting our silage operations through until the end of April. There is an opportunity for this role to lead to a fulltime position for the right person. We also have a capacity for casual as and when required drivers which may appeal to some.
What you’ll be doing
Driving one of our UD truck and trailer units.Supporting our silage teams to deliver timely, professional service to our farming clients.
Conducting pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance.
Maintaining accurate driver logs, timesheets, and records.
Prioritizing safety and teamwork in all tasks.
What you’ll bring:
A clean Class 4 driver license is essential, preference will be given to those with a Class 5 License.Previous experience in agricultural or rural driving is advantageous, but not essential.
Experience with Road Ranger gearboxes would be beneficial.
A strong work ethic, reliability, and adaptability to a fast-paced seasonal environment.
Flexibility to work extended hours during peak harvest periods.
A positive attitude, good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
