THE GIG:
Our Client is a leading production firm based in Dunedin. From it's beginnings this family operated business has thrived and continued to grow. Providing specialist design and production services to a variety of essential industries as well as providing general engineering needs.They have garnered a reputation for providing quality, durable, cost effective products.
Experienced Fabricators form the backbone of the company. This critical role enables our Client to do what they do best, supply their customers with the best possible welding and fabrication services in Dunedin.
You will be required to operate under the direction and supervision of the General Manager. Your duties will vary day to day but will generally involve preparation, welding, fabrication, and assembly.

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Qualified tradesperson with at least 3 years industry experience.
- Be able to interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience in fabrication of mild to heavy steel
- Experience with MIG, TIG, SMAW, and FCAW
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to varied situations and problem solve.
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Has a clean full class 1 driver's licence.
- Can pass a drug and alcohol test.
