General Manager – Strategy, Growth and Operations
Key Responsibilities – You ARE the business
Strategic Leadership:Lead the next phase of Tee Box’s growth by developing and executing clear, ambitious strategic plans that build on our strong foundations.
Operational Management:Oversee daily operations — including rostering, training, and leading staff — to deliver an exceptional customer experience and efficient business performance.
Customer Experience:Champion a fun, inclusive, and high-quality environment for golf enthusiasts of all levels, ensuring every visit to Tee Box feels personal and memorable.
Marketing and Growth:Take the lead on creative marketing campaigns, partnerships, and promotional events that attract new customers and strengthen loyalty with existing ones.
Innovation and Industry Insight:Stay across emerging golf, sport, and hospitality trends to ensure Tee Box remains a leader in technology, events, and community engagement.
Financial Oversight:Manage budgets, invoicing, and banking, and report regularly to the business owners. Maintain strong cost control while identifying and executing new revenue opportunities.

Essential Qualities- Proven experience in business management, marketing, or sales, with a record of delivering measurable growth.
- Confident working flexibly to meet the needs of a hospitality and sporting recreation environment.
- Creative and commercially minded — able to generate, test, and implement ideas that lift both customer experience and revenue.
- Strong leadership presence — you’ll be the visible and accountable face of Tee Box, living our values and driving our mission forward.
- Previous experience working in a licensed establishment.

Desirable Attributes- Previous management or supervisory experience in sport, leisure, or hospitality.
- Business acumen with a track record of successful leadership and team development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current Duty Manager certificate (or willingness to obtain ASAP — full support provided).
What We Offer
- Base salary: $60,000 – $80,000 per year (+ potential performance bonus after a successful first 12 months).
- Equity opportunity: For the right candidate, an ownership stake in Tee Box — with potential to grow after 12 months.
