About the RoleWe have an opportunity available to join our Te Waipounamu regional team as a Registered Nurse in a fixed-term part-time role (0.6FTE).The primary purpose of the role is to use nursing knowledge and judgment to assess health needs, provide care and to advise and support people to manage their health.

Practice independently and in collaboration with other health professionals, perform general nursing functions.Provide comprehensive assessments to develop, implement and evaluate an integrated plan of health care, and provide interventions that require substantial scientific and professional knowledge, skills and clinical decision making.

This is done in a range of settings in partnership with individuals, families, whanau, and communities.You may practise in a variety of clinical contexts depending on your educational preparation and practice experience.

You may also use this expertise to manage, teach, evaluate, and research nursing practice.The fixed-term duration for this role is: 28th July 2025
