This well-known client supports a diverse portfolio of enterprise clients, ensuring business-critical systems remain available, secure, and high-performing. With a reputation for deep IBM i expertise, they're now looking to expand their team in Auckland.
Your new role:You'll be part of a dedicated IBM i (AS/400) team responsible for application support, system enhancements, and ongoing development. You'll work closely with clients to troubleshoot issues, implement updates, and contribute to modernisation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing IBM i applications
- Design and implement new features or modules
- Provide technical support and incident resolution
- Participate in system upgrades and performance tuning
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IBM i / AS/400 development
- Proficiency in RPG (free and/or legacy) and CL
- Strong understanding of DB2 and ILE concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
