- Prepare surfaces (e.g., sanding, priming, cleaning) for painting
- Apply paints, varnishes, and coatings to residential and commercial properties
- Ensure high-quality finishes with attention to detail
- Interact professionally with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with the team and follow project manager instructions to meet deadlines
- Assist with setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a reliable, skilled Painter who takes pride in their work and contributes to our positive team culture. To succeed, you’ll need:
- Minimum 5 years’ painting experience in residential or commercial settings
- A full New Zealand driver’s license
- Strong focus on client satisfaction and clear communication
- Excellent finishing skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit, punctual, respectful, and reliable
- Good understanding of on-site health and safety practices
- Drug-free and committed to maintaining a professional standard
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay range of $33.56 - $35 per hour, based on experience
- Average of 40 hours per week with a minimum of 30 hours per week, with potential for additional hours
- Company vehicle may be provided for the right candidate
