Join Northland Painting, a locally owned company renowned for delivering high-quality residential and commercial painting services. As a Painter, you will:

  • Prepare surfaces (e.g., sanding, priming, cleaning) for painting
  • Apply paints, varnishes, and coatings to residential and commercial properties
  • Ensure high-quality finishes with attention to detail
  • Interact professionally with clients to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with the team and follow project manager instructions to meet deadlines
  • Assist with setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a reliable, skilled Painter who takes pride in their work and contributes to our positive team culture. To succeed, you’ll need:

  • Minimum 5 years’ painting experience in residential or commercial settings
  • A full New Zealand driver’s license
  • Strong focus on client satisfaction and clear communication
  • Excellent finishing skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit, punctual, respectful, and reliable
  • Good understanding of on-site health and safety practices
  • Drug-free and committed to maintaining a professional standard

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay range of $33.56 - $35 per hour, based on experience
  • Average of 40 hours per week with a minimum of 30 hours per week, with potential for additional hours
  • Company vehicle may be provided for the right candidate
  • Tools, equipment, uniform, and PPE supplied
