Support worker - Central Dunedin(Part Time)

We are currently looking for candidates in **Dundedin** to work on Monday to Sunday between 7am to 8.30pm .This role covers Port Chalmers,Ravensbourne,Waikouaiti, Long beach and Central Dunedin.

**What does a Support Worker do?**

As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:

  • Meal preparation
  • Community outings and integration
  • Giving medication
  • Personal cares (showering, toileting etc)
  • Home management

You will earn between $23.97 - $29.68 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.

**What are we looking for?**

  • Previous healthcare or care-giving experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Healthcare qualifications are advantageous
  • Most positions require a full NZ drivers' licence and your own reliable transport
