**About the Role:**

**Position:** Terminal Tractor Operator

We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious Terminal Tractor Operators to join our team at the Wellington Port Log Yard. This hands-on role involves carting logs with a custom-built log trailer ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently in a busy port environment.

**Location:** Wellington Port Log Yard

**Status:** Casual position as and when required basis.

• Operating terminal tractors with custom log trailers in a fast-paced port environment
• Safely carting logs across the yard and ensuring efficient product movement
• Collaborating with a small dynamic team to meet operational targets
• Maintaining equipment in a clean safe and professional condition

• Experience with heavy vehicle operations and port logistics
• Strong communication skills as you will be communicating with team members via radio
• High standards of professionalism and reliability
• Ability to work both day and night shifts in 12-hour rotations
• Relevant machine operating licenses plus full class 1 Driver License
