Summer Season - Cleaner / Housekeeper Wanted for boutique accommodation business in the Beautiful Bay of Islands!
We're looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person with experience cleaning and maintaining holiday cottages to come and join us for the 2025/26 summer season - starting late November for approximately 3 months until late February.
Situated in the beautiful Bay of Islands, along the banks of the Takou River and only 20 minutes north of Kerikeri, we own and operate a beautiful Luxury Glamping Site, 4 Boutique Holiday Cottages a 4 bedroom Lodge and large House set amid 5 acres of sub tropical gardens and surrounded by 150 acres of farm, native bush, river and gardens.Within easy reach of stunning sandy beaches, a pristine river with fishing, kayaking and swimming on your doorstep, and surrounded by stunning nature, glow worms, birdlife and native bush, this is a great place to spend exploring and enjoying the summer in the Winterless North!

The position is full time, 40 hrs/week, starting in late November for 3 months, until the end of February. Experience cleaning high end boutique holiday accommodation an advantage; we're looking for a fun, energetic and enthusiastic person, with great attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and independently under pressure and get along in a small team; happy to carry out diverse duties in the quieter periods, including light property maintenance, gardening and general light duties around the farm.
The position involves cleaning and preparing boutique holiday cottages for guest arrivals, cleaning inside and out; bathrooms, kitchens, living areas; windows, decks and bbqs, carrying out laundry, ironing and linen; meeting and greeting guests from time to time and happy to carry out light gardening and general work around the cottages, garden and property.
You will need a full driving licence and your own vehicle (as we are located 20 minutes from Kerikeri so you'll want to be able to explore on your days off); be a fluent English speaker, non smoker and have a valid visa and be happy to live independently in a small rural community, potentially on site on the farm.
A beautiful cosy fully furnished 1 bedroom cottage is available to rent on the property ($300/week, all bills and wifi included). The cottage is great for a couple, so if your partner is looking for work in the area, this could be a great fit for you.
