Assistant Venue Manager

Welcome to Bonnie Day - where we believe everyday can be a bonnie one. We are a small Brewery and Taproom based in Geraldine, NZ opening mid 2025. We’re passionate about beer, great service and providing good times for our customers and team members.

We are on the search for an Assistant Venue Manager to join our small team. This flexible role will evolve over time and is an opportunity for the right candidate to become an integral part of our small business. This is a permanent full time position.

• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers
• Assist the brewers in informing and educating patrons about our beers
• Efficiently manage the taproom, including a small team of casual staff
• Maintain a high level of hygiene and safety practices
• Prepare simple food as required

• Suitable experience in our industry and a can-do, proactive attitude
• You are driven by delivering excellent customer service and making our venue (and the people in it) feel good
• Interest in beer and brewing with existing knowledge or the enthusiasm to learn
• A valid LCQ/a valid New Zealand Duty Managers Certificate
• Enthusiasm to grow with the role and business
• Applicants must be legally entitled to work permanently in New Zealand
