The opportunity Are you interested in working with adults experiencing psychological distress - making a difference in their lives and future wellbeing? We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who has a passion for mental health nursing and supporting clients through their recovery process.Key aspects of the role are:Completing mental state assessmentsTherapeutic engagement to promote recoverySupporting medication and physical health managementThe Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit consists of 18 Registered Nurses, seven Health Care Assistants, one Occupational Therapy Assistant and one TPK Māori Mental Health Worker.Working in the Inpatient Team, you will be part of our multidisciplinary team, committed to delivering high quality care to our consumer group and be part of continuous improvement.
This is a casual vacancy, with no set hours or days. Shifts available will be ‘as and when required'.About you The preferred candidate would be passionate and committed to providing Tangata Whai Ora focused care.
