Finance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join TUMYU LIMITED in Mount Wellington, Auckland. As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring effective financial management and reporting to support the organisation's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing:- Oversee the daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide valuable insights to the executive team.
- Implement and maintain efficient financial control systems and processes to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial advice and support for decision-making.
- Manage the finance team, including performance management, training, and professional development.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements to enhance the company's financial performance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's overall financial strategy.
- Oversee project cost accounting, contract payments, and cash flow management, particularly in project-based companies.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of accounting experience, with 3+ years in finance management for medium-sized companies.
- Experience in construction, property development, hotel development, or project-based companies.
- Thorough understanding of project cost accounting, contract payments, and cash flow management.
- Familiarity with New Zealand tax system, including GST, PAYE, and related regulations.
- Proficient in Xero, MYOB, and Excel, with strong financial analysis skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to communicate effectively.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, able to communicate in both languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
