Kitchen Joinery Estimator - Christchurch

Part time | Approx 20 hours

An exciting opportunity has become available for a part-time Kitchen Joinery Estimator based in Christchurch. This role is ideal for someone with a background in joinery who's looking for flexibility, possibly even during school hours. You'll be supporting the full-time estimator and stepping in during periods of leave, so flexibility is key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing accurate quotes and tender submissions for kitchen and household joinery
• Liaising with designers to ensure clear understanding of project requirements
• Sourcing and reviewing competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
• Supporting the team during busy periods and covering leave as required

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in joinery estimation or a similar role
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
• Proficiency with Xero quoting systems and Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently, manage a high workflow, and meet deadlines
• Excellent computer, written, and verbal communication skills
• A positive, professional attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Pay rate of $32-$35/hour, depending on experience
