The position also provides administrative assistance to the wider Mental Health and Addiction leadership team and works in close partnership with other key positions across the service. This role is central to facilitating effective communication within the division and across the wider organisation, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.Key responsibilities include:Managing complex diaries, activities and coordinating meetings with multiple stakeholders (internal and external)Collating business and reporting information and collateral from across the division, organisation and regionAssisting with strategic planning, quality reports and operational systemsHandling confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalismAbout YouYou have excellent organisational skills and thrive in a fast-paced and complex healthcare environment using initiative and sound judgement to manage competing priorities.

You enjoy working as part of an integrated team, and understand the importance of building positive, effective relationships across clinical, operational and corporate services within Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora. You are confident in your ability to provide high-level support to the senior leadership team contributing to the delivery of safe, effective patient-centred care.

Key attributes include:Minimum 3 years experience in a senior administrative role providing support to senior managersAdvanced User of Microsoft Office (Outlook, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams)Proven ability to organise and coordinate multifaceted events and meetingsStrong judgment, discretion, and professionalism when managing sensitive informationExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
